Part of the hard 2025 decisions I have had to make the hardest was this one. My bucketlist trip is no longer feasible. Now thankfully I started working on this trip two years ago but never really pushed it or finished all the pages. All that work will stay on a FB event that is in the past and my notes app! Almost every trip I had planned and was absolutely looking forward are now no longer safe. I could not imagine going to Japan in this climate and I personally worry about my health and safety having state funded insurance (see Extreme survivor status theme) in any state that is red. If I get sick with no insurance there I will die before I could get discharged to get home. As such I have decided to focus all my efforts on creating an oasis at my house for those that I love and own my physical health as well as several projects for the benefit of the community. My 20th is still a big deal. I am still going to be doing a year or art. I will still be updating my books and creating several new Pillowbook pieces this year. I will still be celebrating as much as I am able and enjoying my life. However this is the logical, adult, safe, and practical decision.
