This opportunity would make a major difference in my life because it would ultimately be getting me closer to attending college. As an aspiring independent artist It's my dream to be able to attend an institution like SCAD that will prepare me with the fine arts and entrepreneurial knowledge necessary to bring my aspirations for my career to life. I plan on pursuing a major in Illustration and a minor in Business Management and Entrepreneurship which align perfectly with my future goals of managing my own business and developing my brand. I’ll continue to develop my observational drawing skills and my overall traditional technique while beginning to explore the world of digital drawing. I'd apply my fine art skills to work on projects and commissions for customers while utilizing my advertising and management skills to maintain and expand my company, eventually aiming to manage other independent artists and businesses.
